As a roofing contractor would know, it is impossible to have a roof replaced with a newer version of the Atlas Chalet shingle, or to replace sections of the roof&#8217;s shingles, because Atlas no longer makes the Chalet shingle.&#8221; For more information professional roofing contractors are urged to contact the Construction Defect Center at 866-714-6466.<\/p>\n<p>The Construction Defect Center says, &#8220;Based on court records Atlas Chalet roofing shingles were installed on homes in Ohio, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Missouri, Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and other states. We want to try to help these homeowners get identified and we think professional roofing contractors are the best way, so we are hoping they, or their client homeowner, will call us at 866-714-6466, with the goal being compensation for the homeowner. http:\/\/ConstructionDefectCenter.Com<\/p>\n<p>What is a Atlas Chalet Shingle? According to court records, the Atlas Chalet was a shingle that was manufactured to provide a dimensional appearance in a granule overlay shingle. It is not an \u201carchitectural shingle\u201d but rather achieved this look by utilizing random color palettes in a double thickness and creating a shadow line. The result is a 3 tab shingle that provides the eye-appeal of an architectural shingle. The Atlas Chalet shingle was supposedly created to provide an affordable shingle that has the eye appeal of the more expensive architectural shingle.
