Winter in Michigan may have gotten off to a slow start this year, but now that icy weather is finally descending on the Great Lakes state now is the time to make sure that your home is prepared for the months ahead.\u00a0 Fremont Insurance, a Michigan-exclusive property and casualty insurance carrier, offers a few tips to help Michigan homeowners protect their homes against two of the most significant winter risks: ice dams and frozen pipes.<\/p>\n
