Signed into law on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.ca.gov\/2025\/10\/10\/governor-newsom-signs-legislation-10-10-25\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">October 10, 2025 by Governor Newsom<\/a>, its implementation will affect owners, developers, contractors, and subcontractors alike.
